A Yalie for the Day

It was a low-key Saturday, I had to make a quick Sephora run at an outdoor mall which called for walking shoes–not heels and of course, we went out for coffee. The weather has been beautiful–not quite cold, not quite shorts weather and since I like to run my errands around the late afternoon, this was as Little Edie would say, “the best costume of the day”.

When I think of Yale, of course I always think of Rory Gilmore! The Ivy League aesthetic is a timeless one and with my heart forever and always on the East Coast, I embraced my inner Ivy League and thus, I was a Yalie for the day! LMAO!

Shopping with my daughter last week, we popped into H&M and I fell in love with this YALE sweatshirt. Navy is one of my favorite neutrals and I especially love how the material wasn’t too heavy. Paired with navy leggings and cute little white sneakers, I felt comfortable and put together.
