I’m Not Ready To Let Go

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday season! Today’s outfit is one of my favorite looks at the moment.

This is the color palette that I’m currently gravitating toward as of late—shades of brown, tans and cream.

I recently bought this cropped lady jacket. I love the cream color paired with the tones of brown in the tweed like detailing. But there’s one item in this look that I’m not ready to let go of and it’s my skinny jeans. I know, I know!!! Skinny jeans have been “out of style” for a years now but I’ve always liked the style and fit—these are high rise skinnies and I wear them often.

I love pairing a headband with this outfit–it makes it feel more polished

Alternatively, while it’s a subtle change, without the headband, this gives a bit more of a cool, low key vibe

I wear what I truly like. While some trends can be great, I refuse to wear something solely because it’s trendy. Lady jackets are having a moment right now which I love because they truly are classic pieces that will always look elegant— in trend or not. As for the skinny jeans, will I ever be ever to let go?? I’ll get back to you on that.
